## Synopsis

Neue Geschichten vom Pumuckl (2023-present) is a German family comedy series produced for RTL and RTL+, a fresh continuation of the beloved Pumuckl tradition. Apprentice carpenter Florian Eder (Florian Brückner) works in the workshop of his uncle Master Eder, and the goblin Pumuckl, voiced by Hans Clarin, slips into his life and refuses to leave his side. Milan Peschel, Ilse Neubauer as Frau Stürtzlinger, and Frederic Linkemann as Michi round out the regular cast, while Katharina Thalbach and Ina Meling appear among the principals. Each short episode runs about twenty-eight minutes and builds its comedy from small everyday mishaps: Pumuckl's pranks disrupt orders, tools vanish, and the workshop becomes a stage for gentle chaos. The engine of the series is the friction between the human characters' routines and a companion who thrives on disorder. The show runs across two seasons of thirteen episodes each, with a light, warm, cozy register and an emphasis on friendship and playful mischief. Its tone is sweet and nostalgic, suited to young children and the adults who grew up with the original. Fans of Bewitched, Mr. Ed, and Die Schlümpfe will find a similar blend of household whimsy and a lovable trickster at the center.
