## Synopsis

Rigo (2023-2024) is a Colombian sports drama series produced by Estudios RCN for RCN and Prime Video, a single-season run of 99 episodes. Juan Pablo Urrego plays Rigoberto Urán, a young cyclist whose hunger to race professionally collides with the money worries and loyalties of his household. Around him, Ana María Estupiñán as Michelle Durango, Sandra Reyes as Aracely Urán and Ramiro Meneses as Luis Urán "Lucho" anchor the family and romantic threads that shape his choices. Each episode is built from the concrete grind of early morning training rides, local races, shared meals and tight budgets in a working class Colombian setting. The tone is earnest and warm, with a grounded emotional register of hardship, perseverance and national pride. Fans of Senna, Breaking Away and Narcos will find resonance in its blend of athletic ambition, real life inspiration and family loyalty. Set in Colombia across the 1990s and 2000s, it moves at a measured, humane pace and rewards viewers who enjoy biographical sports stories told with patience and heart.
