## Synopsis

Love In The Big City (2024) is a South Korean drama miniseries created by Park Sang-young for TVING. Across eight episodes of roughly 55 minutes each, the story follows Go Young (Nam Yoon-su), a young gay man living in the crowded city of Seoul, and his spirited roommate who helps him work through romance, sexuality and the shadow of mortality. Supporting characters including Mi-ae (Lee Soo-kyung), Nam-kyu (Kwon Hyuk) and Gyu-ho (Jin Ho-eun) drift through his life as each episode lingers on everyday apartment routines, late nights out and tentative attachments. The engine is emotional rather than plot-heavy: a man trying to understand what he wants while life presses in from every side. The tone is quiet, intimate and understated, with melancholy warmth running through the city scenes. Its focus on queer intimacy and the fragility of time recalls the restrained emotional register of Bonding and Heartstopper, and fans of Love Alarm will find its urban romance familiar. A single contained season makes it an easy one-sitting watch for viewers seeking tender, honest queer romance set in contemporary Korea.
