## Synopsis

The Lost Station Girls (2025) is a French crime drama limited series created by Gaëlle Bellan for Disney+. Detective Flore Robin (Camille Razat) leads the investigation alongside her colleague Detective Franck Vidal (Hugo Becker), as the Perpignan police chase a predator who has taken a teenage girl and then three young women. Their engine is relentless and personal: each lead dies out, each suspect slips away, and the team must keep pushing across years while the case lingers on their own lives. Veteran figure Félix Sabuesco (Patrick Timsit) brings a weary, grounded presence to the squad, while the families of the missing, including Marie-Josée Andujar (Mélanie Doutey), give the story its emotional weight. The six episodes unfold as a single continuous investigation rather than a case of the week. Set in 1990s and early 2000s southern France, the series moves through provincial towns, police offices and quiet streets with a cool, patient visual register. Its tone is bleak, tense and melancholic, with a sustained sense of dread that builds through the long search. Fans of Mindhunter, The Missing and Mare of Easttown will find resonance in its slow-burn procedural rhythm and its focus on grief and institutional persistence.
