## Synopsis

Pluto (2024-2025) is a Thai girls love romance drama created by Chao Planoy for GMM 25, a single-season limited series of twelve 45-minute episodes produced by GMMTV. When a successful twin falls into a coma after a wedding-night accident, her overlooked sister Ob-oom and Ai-oon, played by Tipnaree Weerawatnodom, must pose as her to break up with the lover she secretly left behind. The engine is a web of deception: the sister has to keep up the impersonation while confronting her own feelings, and she discovers that the woman she is meant to leave is blind and unaware of the truth. May, played by Rachanun Mahawan, and Pang, played by Rutricha Phapakithi, flank the central romance as principal figures. Each episode turns on small domestic and social obligations, stolen moments, and the mounting cost of a lie told out of obligation. The tone is tender, wistful and bittersweet, with a soft romantic register that rewards viewers who enjoy slow emotional build-up. Set in contemporary Thailand, the story unfolds in an intimate urban milieu. Fans of Gap the Series and Bad Buddy will find resonance in its gentle Thai youth romance, and viewers of Yuri on Ice will recognise its longing for a love that must be carefully hidden.
