## Synopsis

Brilliant Minds (2024-2026) is an American network medical drama created by Michael Grassi for NBC, a two-season series spanning 33 episodes before its cancellation. Zachary Quinto plays Oliver Wolf, an eccentric, gifted neurologist whose face blindness shapes how he reads and cares for patients. Tamberla Perry plays Carol Pierce and Teddy Sears plays Josh Nichols, while Ashleigh LaThrop and Aury Krebs anchor the team of brilliant young interns who work beside him. The engine of each episode is a puzzling case built around a rare psychological or neurological condition, with the diagnostic chase driving the story forward while personal relationships strain under the demands of the job. Set in a present-day Bronx hospital in New York City, the show balances clinical mystery with warmth and humor, its mood hopeful and character-driven rather than grim. Its shape is a case-driven medical format with threads of ongoing character drama running across the season arcs. Fans of House and The Good Doctor will find resonance in its brilliant maverick lead and in the satisfaction of diagnoses cracked one puzzle at a time.
