## Synopsis

Children of Evil is a Serbian crime thriller miniseries created for HBO Europe, built as a single taut season of ten episodes. Radovan Vujović plays Nikola Bobić, a defence attorney who reluctantly takes on a case after a masked perpetrator murders a prominent politician and leaves an old golden coin in the victim's hand. Bobić wants to walk away from a case that has already marked him, but each new move drags him deeper into a game built around the coin and the killer's calculated messages. The series unfolds as a tense procedural of interviews, pressured courtroom confrontations, and hunts through the city's shadowed corridors of power and money. Its mood is taut and paranoid, with a moral unease that grows as the stakes rise. Set in present-day Serbia, the story draws on the country's uneasy relationship with political corruption and the way influence can shield the guilty. Viewers who enjoy the slow-build dread of Better Call Saul or the puzzle-box menace of Dark will find a similar pull in its lawyer caught in a mystery that refuses to let go.
