## Synopsis

The Loyal Pin (2024) is a Thai historical romance series created by Mon Maew for YouTube and Workpoint TV, a single-season girls' love drama of sixteen roughly hour-long episodes. Its story follows the proper Lady Pin and the playful, charming Princess Anilaphat, two women brought together by fate who grow up side by side. Becky Armstrong plays Aninlaphat, opposite Sarocha Chankimha as Pilanthita, with Irvin Osathanond, Alicia Laisuthruklai and Apinun Prasertwattanakul rounding out the principal cast of courtiers, relatives and suitors. The engine of the show is the slow, careful development of a lifelong bond: childhood rivalries, court obligations and small private gestures gradually shift into something deeper, while the surrounding society makes open affection dangerous. Set in a mid-century Thai royal milieu around 1950, when same-sex love was taboo, the series is a sincere, sweet and romantic production that foregrounds longing, loyalty and the costume-rich texture of its era. Fans of Bad Buddy, Bridgerton and Heartstopper will find resonance in its tender romance and period sensibility.
