## Synopsis

I Am Married...But! (2025) is a Taiwanese romantic comedy miniseries created by Vita Huang and Nyssa Li and distributed on Netflix. Its twelve episodes of roughly thirty-four minutes follow a couple, Lin I-ling (Alice Ko) and Zeng Xue-you (Jasper Liu), whose meet-cute turns into a whirlwind romance and then a rushed marriage. The engine of the story is their attempt to build a real partnership out of a courtship that looked like a fairy tale, while in-laws, colleagues and old habits press on the new household. Each episode turns on a small domestic clash, a misread gesture or a stubborn pride, giving the series a steady rhythm of banter and tender reconciliation. The supporting cast, including Ko Shu-Chin as Wu Ch'un-mei and Fu Meng-po as Chang Jen-wei, adds family pressure and friendship subplots. Set in contemporary Taiwan, the show balances breezy comedy with a wistful, hopeful undertone about what love demands once the wedding is over. Viewers who enjoy Crash Landing on You, Her Private Life and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will find similar warmth, and the show suits a single-season binge of a few evenings.
