## Synopsis

My Stand-In (2024) is a Thai boys' love drama series created by Shui Qian Cheng for iQIYI International, adapted from a novel. Phuripan Sapsangsawat plays Joe, a stuntman who wakes up inside another man's body after an accident, and Poompat Iam-samang plays Ming, the person from his past who refuses to let the mystery of that second chance go unanswered. Supporting principals Jirakit Thawornwong as Tong, Tanathorn Charoenratanaporn as Sol, Possathorn Wittanyaprechapol as Jim and Chaiyut Panchukiat as Yim orbit the central pair as the story unfolds across a single twelve-episode season. The engine of the show is the push and pull between Joe's longing to reconnect with Ming and the disorienting reality of living in a borrowed body, with each episode turning up another piece of the puzzle behind his return. The tone is angst-heavy and tender, with a psychological romance undercurrent that rewards viewers who enjoy slow-burn emotional tension. Fans of Cherry Magic and Eternal Love will find resonance in its blend of reincarnation, longing and romantic melancholy, all set in a contemporary Thai milieu that gives the premise a grounded, intimate texture.
