## Synopsis

The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-1978) is an American science fiction action series created by Kenneth Johnson and Martin Caidin for ABC. Astronaut Steve Austin (Lee Majors) is rebuilt after a catastrophic crash with bionic arm, legs and eye, and he is recruited by the OSI as a secret agent under the command of Oscar Goldman (Richard Anderson). Scientist Dr. Rudy Wells (Martin E. Brooks) supervises his cybernetics and keeps him functioning between missions. Each episode is a self-contained case of the week in which Steve uses his enhanced speed and strength to confront enemy agents, mad scientists, aliens and other villains.
