## Synopsis

Dan Da Dan (2024-present) is a Japanese animated supernatural comedy series produced by Science SARU and aired on MBS and TBS, a shonen anime built on a high school bet. Momo Ayase (voiced by Shion Wakayama), a sharp-tongued girl who believes in aliens, and Ken 'Okarun' Takakura (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), a cheerful occult enthusiast who swears ghosts are real, wager over which exists, and the wager pulls them into terrifying encounters that awaken strange powers in both of them. Their engine is simple and frantic: each episode pits the pair against a new spirit, alien or urban legend, with the grandmother Turbo Granny (Mayumi Tanaka) and the spirit-hunting Seiko (Nana Mizuki) complicating every plan. The first season spans 24 episodes of brisk, kinetic action punctuated by deadpan banter and awkward first-love tension. Its tone swings from gross-out horror to bright, self-aware comedy and back again, with a soundtrack that shifts moods as sharply as the fights do. Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100 and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War will find resonance in its blend of supernatural battles, teenage romance and irreverent humor.
