## Synopsis

Eye Love You (2024) is a Japanese romantic comedy-drama series broadcast on TBS, created as a ten-episode single season of roughly forty-nine-minute episodes. Telepathic Japanese woman Motomiya Yuri (Fumi Nikaido) has long given up on love after a lifetime of hearing everyone's private thoughts, until she meets a kindhearted Korean student, Yoon Tae-oh (Chae Jong-hyeop), whose inner monologue she cannot understand. The engine of the series is the gap between what she hears and what she can grasp: every awkward exchange, misread glance and half-translated confession pulls her toward him while her powers and her guardedness keep pushing her away. Supporting characters including Hanaoka Akito (Taishi Nakagawa) and Ikemoto Mahiro (Mizuki Yamashita) add rival pulls and friendship subplots around the central pair. The tone is light and warm, with quirky comedic beats balanced by wistful, hopeful moments about being truly understood. Fans of Crash Landing on You, Ghost Whisperer and Kiss Me Kill Me will find resonance in its blend of cross-cultural romance, supernatural quirk and gentle emotional yearning.
