## Synopsis

Ransom Canyon (2025-2026) is an American streaming western drama created by April Blair for Netflix, adapted from a novel. Josh Duhamel plays Staten Kirkland, a rancher whose hold on the land is threatened as rival dynasties press in around him, while Minka Kelly plays Quinn O'Grady, a woman caught between loyalties and desire. Eoin Macken as Davis Collins and Lizzy Greene as Lauren Brigman add further romantic and family entanglements, and James Brolin brings weight as the patriarch Cap Fuller. The engine of the show is simple: each family wants to keep its land and its legacy, and every marriage, betrayal and alliance is measured against the ground beneath it. Episodes move through ranch business, courtship, rivalries and the small-town gossip that carries them, spread across two seasons of eighteen episodes before the series was canceled. Its tone is sentimental and sun-warmed, with a playful romantic streak and a sincere belief in family, though the adult content and rough frontier conflicts give it a sharper edge. Fans of Yellowstone, Dallas and Heartland will find resonance in its blend of dynastic rivalry, Texas landscape and soapy romance. The story is set in a contemporary-broadcast Texas ranch country, a small town where land is power.
