## Synopsis

Rising Impact (2024) is a Japanese animated sports series produced for Netflix and adapted from a manga. It follows Gawain Nanaumi, a third-grader whose natural gift for golf is noticed by a professional player, and his drive to become the world's best golfer. Along the way he meets rivals and allies such as Lancelot Norman and Kiria Nishino, while his family and mentors anchor the story at home. Each episode is built around a match or a training challenge, with brisk rounds that let a child's dedication meet hard adult competition. The tone is earnest, sunny and determined rather than cynical, with plenty of playful moments and an underdog energy that rewards persistence. It works as a shounen sports anime in the tradition of tournament stories, leaning on youthful ambition, friendly rivalry and rising stakes. Viewers who enjoy Hajime no Ippo or Ping Pong the Animation will recognize the blend of talent, competition and heart. Family friendly and easy to watch, it suits kids and sports fans alike, offering an uplifting ride with a golf course backdrop and a hopeful outlook throughout.
