## Synopsis

Café con Aroma de Mujer (1994-1995) is a Colombian telenovela created by Fernando Gaitán for RCN, produced for state-owned Canal A and broadcast across Latin America, North America and Europe. Across a single run of 139 episodes, the series follows a melodramatic family web centered on Lucrecia de Vallejo (Silvia de Dios), with Iván Vallejo (Cristóbal Errazúriz), Lucía Sandoval de Vallejo (Alejandra Borrero), Sebastián Vallejo (Guy Ecker) and Marcela Vallejo (Danna García) orbiting her, while Margarita Rosa de Francisco plays Gaviota. Its engine is the classic telenovela pull of marriages, rivalries, secrets and loyalties tested episode after episode, each confrontation stacking onto the last until the central relationships are pushed to their limits. Presented as a long-form soap opera with heightened emotion, sentimental longing and melodramatic reversals, it will appeal to fans of Yo soy Betty, la fea, Pasión de Gavilanes and Dallas. The atmosphere is warm, passionate and intensely emotional, a sprawling domestic drama built for devoted, unhurried viewing across its full run.
