## Synopsis

Too Much (2025) is a British and American romantic comedy series created by Lena Dunham and Luis Felber for Netflix. When a heartbroken New Yorker, Jessica Salmon (Megan Stalter), moves to London hoping for a love story, she finds herself drawn to Felix Remen (Will Sharpe), an indie musician who is anything but a typical romantic hero. Stephen Fry plays Simon Remen, Felix's father, and Richard E. Grant plays Jonno Ratigan, adding a crowd of eccentric relatives and acquaintances to the orbit around the couple. The engine of the show is Jessica's attempt to rebuild herself in an unfamiliar city while navigating the awkward, deflating moments of a courtship that refuses to follow the usual script. Each episode is built around small social mishaps, family dinners, and tentative steps toward intimacy, with the story unfolding across a single ten-episode season. The tone is wry, cringe-prone, and low-key, with a melancholic undertow of breakup grief beneath the comedy. Fans of Girls, Fleabag and Crashing will find resonance in its blend of expatriate anxiety, sharp dialogue and unromantic romance. Netflix's ten-episode run was canceled after this single season, leaving the story unfinished.
