## Synopsis

Moonlit Reunion is a Chinese costume fantasy series set in a richly staged Tang-era capital of palaces, banquets and night streets. A reserved nobleman joins a bureau of demon investigators, while a bold princess with a secret half-demon heritage works to protect the boundary between the human and demon worlds. Both hide who they truly are, yet a shared investigation keeps pulling them together as bone demons rise and unrest spreads through the city. Court loyalties shift, allies become suspects, and old wounds surface with each new threat. The series blends palace intrigue with supernatural action, and each stretch of episodes advances a mystery that connects both leads to a past they have not yet faced. Its mood is romantic and melancholic, with a strong sense of destiny drawing two guarded people toward one another. Viewers drawn to costume romance, atmospheric battles and forbidden attraction will find much to savour in its slow-burning emotional pull and its atmosphere of quiet longing.
