## Synopsis

Motorheads is an American teen drama series created by John A. Norris for Prime Video, a single-season run of ten episodes of roughly 54 minutes each. After siblings Caitlyn Torres (Melissa Collazo) and Zac Torres (Michael Cimino) move to the rust belt town of Ironwood, they are drawn into a street racing scene where high school status is measured by the car you drive. Haunted by their father's dark past, the siblings team up with loner Curtis Young (Uriah Shelton) and outcast Marcel Crawford (Nicolas Cantu) to rebuild Marcel's legendary car. The engine of the show is the tension between the pull of the racing underground and the wish to keep their family intact, with each episode built around a race, a repair, or a confrontation at school. Its tone is nostalgic and intimate, with a dramatic, suspenseful edge and moments of romance woven through the garage and the streets. Fans of Friday Night Lights and The Fast and the Furious will find resonance in its small town loyalty and car obsession. The series was canceled after its first season, leaving its story unfinished.
