## Synopsis

The Believers (2024-2025) is a Thai crime drama series produced for Netflix. When their struggling startup sinks under a massive loan, three best friends, Win (Teeradon Supapunpinyo), Dear (Achiraya Nitibhon) and Game (Pachara Chirathivat), devise a risky scam that uses a Buddhist temple to raise the money they need before the deadline closes in. Their plan pulls in other characters, including Dol (Patchai Pakdeesusuk) and Ekkachai (Paopetch Charoensook), and each step tests the loyalty between old friends. The series runs for two seasons and seventeen episodes of roughly forty-six minutes each, following one continuing story with a steady escalation of tension. Its contemporary setting unfolds across modern Thai cities, where business pressure and religious faith collide. Each episode moves briskly, with a tense, morally gray atmosphere, sharp dialogue, and a sense of desperation that builds toward consequences. Viewers who enjoy the escalating criminal schemes of Breaking Bad and the ensemble heist energy of Money Heist will find resonance here, along with the Southeast Asian crime sensibility of Bad Genius.
