## Synopsis

Nukitashi: The Animation (2025) is a Japanese animated romantic comedy miniseries created as an anime adaptation of a visual novel, broadcast on AT-X. Its protagonist Junnosuke Tachibana (voiced by Kouhei Yanagi) leads the secret society NLNS on Seiran Island, a closed community where he is determined to defeat an oppressive law. The group works from a secret base supplied by an unknown wealthy benefactor, and its mission is to locate a mysterious girl while keeping the enforcers known as the SHO off their trail. Supporting voices include Shizuka Ishigami as Nanase Katagiri, Minori Ozawa as Hinami Watarai, Rie Okamoto as Misaki Hotori, and Ako Koaki as Asane Tachibana. The series runs eleven episodes of roughly 24 minutes each and forms a single self-contained season. Each episode mixes school-set romance with frank, bawdy humor and the restless energy of a group of misfits operating in a tightly controlled island society. The tone is playful and cheeky, with an undercurrent of rebellion and intrigue. Setting and atmosphere are drawn from the isolated island and its rules, and fans of ecchi romantic comedies and visual novel adaptations will find resonance here, alongside the closed-society intrigue of island mysteries.
