## Synopsis

Hyper Knife is a South Korean medical crime thriller created by Kim Jung-hyun and Kim Sun-hee for Disney+, told across a single eight-episode season. Brilliant neurosurgeon Jung Se-ok, played by Park Eun-bin, is drawn back into the orbit of Choi Deok-hee, played by Sul Kyung-gu, the professor who once shaped her and then wrecked her career. Their bond, once closer than any other, has curdled into hatred, and Se-ok's pursuit of revenge becomes the engine of the story. The rivalry plays out in polished hospitals and in hidden back street operating rooms, where surgical skill and secrecy meet criminal clients and dangerous personal entanglements. Supporting characters Seo Young-joo and Han Hyun-ho help shape the fallout around the two surgeons. Each episode layers clinical tension over a dark crime undercurrent, creating a grim, intense, and bloody register that never loses its emotional core. Viewers who enjoy morally compromised protagonists, cold clinical precision, and vengeful obsession will find the show compelling. It is a compact, self-contained story with prestige production values and a steely, unsentimental eye.
