## Synopsis

Culinary Class Wars (2024-2026) is a South Korean reality cooking competition created by Kim Hak-min and Kim Eun-ji for Netflix. Eighty self-taught underdog cooks, the Black Spoon contenders, are pitted against twenty elite White Spoon chefs in a fierce tournament among one hundred contenders. Judges Paik Jong-won and Sung Anh weigh each dish while MC Nam Doh-hyeong narrates the stakes, and contestants such as Kang Seung-won, Lee Mi-young and Nam Jung-seok fight to prove that raw flavor sense can outrank polished reputations. The engine is simple and gripping: each round asks cooks to win over demanding judges with limited time, unfamiliar ingredients and the pressure of class rivalry. Across two seasons the show moves briskly through head-to-head battles, eliminations and tense tasting verdicts. The tone is energetic and sharp, with a warm respect for home-kitchen talent and an underdog spirit that rewards creativity. Its high production values, clear rules and emotional payoffs make it appealing to fans of cooking competitions, and viewers who enjoyed Top Chef, MasterChef or Hell's Kitchen will find the same appetite for culinary skill and dramatic reversals here.
