## Synopsis

Harlan Coben's Lazarus (2025) is a American streaming miniseries created by Harlan Coben and Daniel Brocklehurst for Prime Video. Sam Claflin plays forensic psychiatrist Dr Joel Laz Lazarus, who is certain his father's death is a suicide until it is not. Bill Nighy plays his father, Dr L, whose death in suspicious circumstances pulls Laz into a tangle of murderous conspiracy and a race to find the killer. Alexandra Roach plays Jenna Lazarus, and Kate Ashfield plays Detective Alison Brown, both circling the family's secrets. The engine of the series is a grieving man's need for the truth against a web of buried history, with strange visions of people he knows to be dead pushing him deeper. Told across a single six-episode season of roughly 48 minutes each, it is a self-contained limited miniseries rather than an open-ended run. The tone is suspenseful and unsettling, with a psychological thriller's dread and a mystery's steady drip of revelations. Set in contemporary Britain, it carries the twisty, family-centred pulse associated with Harlan Coben's novels. Fans of The Stranger, The Sinner and The Killing will find resonance in its paranoid, grief-heavy mystery.
