## Synopsis

Bahar (2024-2025) is a Turkish national-television family drama created by Neslihan Yeşilyurt for Show TV. Demet Evgar plays Bahar Özden, a former physician who gave up her medical career to be a devoted wife and mother, only to find her family takes her devotion for granted. When a sudden illness brings her face to face with death, she begins to see how little her seemingly perfect household values her, and she sets out to reclaim the life she sacrificed. Buğra Gülsoy plays her husband Evren Yalkın, whose secrets become the pressure point of her return, while Elit Andaç Çam, Ecem Özkaya and Nil Sude Albayrak round out the principal circle around her. The engine of the show is Bahar's push back into hospital life and her confrontations at home, with each episode built from concrete domestic friction, workplace rivalry and slow reveals. The series runs three seasons across sixty-four episodes, one continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week format. Set in contemporary Istanbul, it moves through a middle-class world of apartments, clinics and family gatherings. Its tone is warm, funny and emotionally satisfying, with a cathartic arc of a woman finally blooming. Fans of Kadın and Kurtlar Vadisi will find resonance in its mix of melodrama and domestic conflict.
