## Synopsis

Paradise (2025-present) is an American science fiction thriller series created by Dan Fogelman for Hulu. Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) is drawn into a high stakes investigation after a shocking murder shatters the calm of a sealed underground city, where a small population of survivors, among them the nation's most prominent figures, lives in a rebuilt copy of the ruined surface world. Sarah Shahi plays Dr. Gabriela Torabi and James Marsden plays President Cal Bradford, two of the powerful figures whose loyalties and secrets complicate every lead. Each episode peels back another layer of the community's rigid hierarchy as Xavier pushes against the people who built the paradise and profit from keeping its surface quiet. The show moves between the investigation and flashback fragments that reveal how the survivors arrived, giving the mystery an unsettling emotional weight. Its tone is tense, paranoid and politically charged, with a cold, claustrophobic atmosphere of corridors, control rooms and ordered lives. Fans of Silo and 24 will find resonance in its blend of institutional intrigue, bunker isolation and a conspiracy that keeps widening across its two seasons.
