## Synopsis

Kid vs. Kat (2008-2011) is a Canadian-American animated science fiction comedy created by Rob Boutilier for YTV. Ten-year-old Coop Burtonburger (voiced by Erin Matthews) lives in a suburban household where his little sister Millie has brought home a stray cat that is secretly an evil cybernetic alien in disguise. Nobody in his family believes him, and the only ally he has is his best friend Dennis, so Coop takes on the job of foiling the cat's diabolical schemes himself. Each episode is a brisk, self-contained caper built on escalating gadgets, sneaky plots and the running battle of wits between boy and feline. Across two seasons and 104 episodes of roughly 22 minutes each, the show keeps a cheerful, mischievous energy with a steady undercurrent of wounded childhood pride. Its ensemble of voice actors includes Brian Drummond, Kathleen Barr, Tara Strong and Rob Paulsen. Fans of Invader Zim, Phineas and Ferb and Danny Phantom will find a similar mix of kid-centered invention, absurd villainy and family-friendly comedy.
