## Synopsis

Apartment Works (2024-2025) is an Egyptian situation comedy created by Khaled Diab and Sherine Diab for MBC Masr, MBC Drama and MBC Shahid. Hesham Maged plays forensic doctor Hamdy Abdel Rahim, whose desperate search for a home manager to help with his newborn twins drives the show, alongside his wife Yasmine, played by Asmaa Galal. The engine is a steady parade of wildly unsuitable candidates, from phone-addicted helpers to boundary-crossing ones, each arrival throwing the household into fresh disorder. Hamdy's own bizarre cases at the morgue spill into the apartment and add to the mayhem, while Mostafa Ghareb, Sherine and Salwa Mohamed Ali populate the orbit of relatives and neighbors. The series runs two seasons across thirty episodes, with a continuing story in place of standalone episodes. Set in contemporary Cairo, it plays as a sharp, lighthearted domestic farce with a cheerful, witty tone and a strong ensemble. Fans of Modern Family, Frasier and Arab family sitcoms will find the same mix of warm chaos and character-driven humor.
