## Synopsis

Hope on the Street (2024) is a South Korean documentary miniseries created by j-hope for Prime Video and TVING. Across six episodes of roughly twenty-five minutes each, BTS member j-hope returns to his dancer roots, accompanied by his former instructor, the popping champion Boogaloo Kin. The two travel through Osaka, Seoul, Paris, New York and Gwangju, seeking out local street dancers and sharing sessions with them in each city. The engine is simple and personal: a performer looking to reconnect his past, present and future through movement, with each stop revealing a different community and style. Shaped as a short, self-contained docuseries, it moves at an easygoing pace, with the camera following rehearsals, cyphers and conversations on the street. The tone is warm, sincere and celebratory, carrying the appeal of a K-pop star without losing the grounded texture of a travel documentary. Fans of Stop the Dance, Bruno Mars: Finding Home and Street Dance of China will find resonance in its focus on dance culture, mentorship and the shared language of the street.
