## Synopsis

Sirens (2025) is an American dark comedy miniseries created by Molly Smith Metzler for Netflix, adapted from a stage play. Worried about her sister's too-close relationship with her billionaire boss, a scrappy everywoman named Devon DeWitt (Meghann Fahy) seeks answers at a lavish seaside estate owned by the powerful Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore). Her sister Simone DeWitt (Milly Alcock) is drawn into the orbit of the household, while Peter Kell (Kevin Bacon) and Ethan Corbin II (Glenn Howerton) add pressure from the edges of the family's world. Bill Camp plays Bruce DeWitt, the family patriarch whose worries anchor the outsider's perspective. The engine of the series is a class-divided household in which every favor carries a price, and each episode turns on a new confrontation between staff, guests and family members. Across five episodes, the story plays as a single continuing arc rather than a case-of-the-week format, with the miniseries running a tight, self-contained shape. Set in a contemporary American wealth milieu, the atmosphere is brittle, acidic and uneasy, with comic cruelty giving way to a disheartening tone. Viewers who enjoy The White Lotus, Succession and Big Little Lies will recognize the satirical edge and the unsettling portrait of privilege.
