## Synopsis

Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory (2009-2015) is an American reality series created by Rob Dyrdek, Jeff Tremaine, Shane Nickerson and Ruben Fleischer for MTV. Skateboarder and entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek leads a tight crew of friends who play themselves, including Chris Pfaff, Scott Pfaff, Sterling Steelo Brim and Chanel West Coast, through a stream of playful, offbeat weekly challenges. The engine of each episode is a new idea to chase: one day the crew may build a business franchise, another day they might coax someone onto a bull or hurl burritos at unsuspecting people. Each episode runs about twenty-one minutes and the show unfolds across seven seasons and seventy-nine episodes, with a case-of-the-week shape rather than a continuing storyline. The mood is loose, goofy and irreverent, with easy banter and a high-energy skate culture sensibility. Fans of Jackass, Viva La Bam and Punk'd will find a similar kinship in its stunt-driven, prank-adjacent comedy. The format is light and undemanding, suited to casual viewing and quick rewatching.
