## Synopsis

The Hunting Party is a United States network crime thriller created by JJ Bailey for NBC, running from 2025 to 2026 across two seasons and twenty-three episodes before its cancellation. Melissa Roxburgh plays Rebecca 'Bex' Henderson, an investigator leading a small team assembled to track down the most dangerous killers the country has ever seen after they break out of a top-secret prison that officially does not exist. Patrick Sabongui plays Jacob Hassani and Sara Alicia Garcia plays Jennifer Morales, with Josh McKenzie as Shane Florence rounding out the core group, and Nick Wechsler appears as Oliver Odell. The engine of the series is the chase itself: each episode follows the team through leads, safehouses and tense confrontations as they try to recapture escaped prisoners before they strike again. Episodes are built around a continuing manhunt, so order matters and the investigation accumulates across the season arcs. The setting is a present-day American landscape of federal agencies and covert government programs. The tone is taut and propulsive, with a grim undercurrent about prisoners studied like lab rats. Fans of Criminal Minds and The Fugitive will find resonance in its team-driven pursuit of dangerous killers.
