## Synopsis

Dabba Cartel (2025) is a Hindi-language Indian crime drama series created by Gaurav Kapur, Vishnu Menon, Akanksha Seda and Shibani Dandekar for Netflix. Its single season of seven episodes follows five women, led by Shabana Azmi as Sheila alongside Sai Tamhankar as Preethi, Jyothika as Varuna, Nimisha Sajayan as Mala and Shalini Pandey as Raji, who launch a tiffin lunch delivery service that hides a secret ingredient. Their engine is practical and dangerous: they need money and protection once an investigation into a pharmaceutical company begins to reach into their own homes, and every episode turns on the small, unglamorous logistics of cooking, delivering and concealing. Set in contemporary Mumbai, the series moves through crowded kitchens, delivery routes and corporate offices, building suspense from ordinary domestic routines. The tone is gritty and tense, with flashes of dark humor and a strong sense of female solidarity. Viewers who enjoy Sacred Games, Breaking Bad and Orange Is the New Black will find resonance in its blend of crime pressure and character-driven drama. The show is a compact, serialized thriller that rewards close attention to its shifting alliances.
