## Synopsis

A lighthearted Canadian sitcom set in a small Arctic town in Nunavut, following a single mother who starts over in a close-knit community where everyone knows everyone's business. Warm, witty and breezy, the series finds its comedy in gossip, awkward social obligations, and the friction between newcomers and long-time residents, while grounding its humor in Inuit community life, language, and humour. Its tone is feel-good and affectionate rather than cynical, with characters who are flawed but easy to root for. Storylines lean on small-town mishaps, family loyalty, and the slow building of chosen friendships, with reinvention as a recurring thread. The show favors brisk pacing and simple, grounded stakes, offering a comforting watch for viewers who enjoy character-driven comedies like Northern Exposure or Corner Gas. Episodes stand alone well enough for casual viewing, yet the ongoing arcs reward steady attention. Indigenous identity and cultural pride surface naturally rather than as lectures, giving the series a distinct sense of place and an earnest, neighborly warmth that rarely tips into sentimentality.
