## Synopsis

What's with Andy? (2001-2007) is a Canadian-French animated comedy series created by Andy Griffiths for Teletoon. Andy Larkin, voiced by Ian James Corlett, is a schoolboy who sets his heart on becoming the greatest practical joker the world has ever seen, and each episode is built around a fresh scheme that spirals into trouble for him. Bumper Robinson voices his friend Danny Pickett, and Colleen O'Shaughnessey voices Lori Mackney, who are drawn into the chaos around him. Across three seasons of twenty-six episodes each, the series works as a bright, self-contained family sitcom in which each story turns on a plan going wrong. The tone is light, breezy and gently mocking, with slapstick timing and a warm affection for its sometimes hapless hero. Its scale is modest and its stakes are small, so it plays best as easy viewing for children and the adults who watch alongside them. Fans of Ed, Edd n Eddy, Rugrats and Dennis the Menace will find a similar mix of mischief and cartoon comeuppance.
