## Synopsis

Bobby's World (1990-1998) is an American animated family comedy created by Howie Mandel for FOX and Fox Kids. Its protagonist, Bobby Generic, is voiced by Howie Mandel, who also voices his alter ego Howard, and the cast includes Gail Matthius as Martha, Charity James as Kelly, and Tino Insana as Uncle Ted. Bobby lives in a typical suburban neighborhood where his overactive imagination constantly turns everyday situations into daring adventures and fantastical episodes. The engine of each episode is simple: a small boy wants something, the ordinary world gets in the way, and his imagination reshapes the problem into an epic quest filled with wonder and silly slapstick. Seen through pint-sized perspective, minor family and neighborhood frictions feel enormous, which gives the series a breezy, warm, and playful register. Each episode stands on its own, so the show works as a self-contained, episodic animated sitcom across seven seasons and eighty-one episodes. Its gentle humor and childlike wonder place it in the tradition of 1990s Saturday morning cartoons, and fans of Rugrats, Doug and The Magic School Bus will find a similar kinship in its family-friendly imaginative spirit.
