## Synopsis

Check in Hanyang (2024-2025) is a South Korean historical comedy-drama series created by Park Hyun-jin for Channel A, running two seasons and seventeen episodes. Set in the Joseon Dynasty, it follows four trainee servants from very different backgrounds as they try to earn their keep at the grandest inn in Hanyang. Bae In-hyuk plays Lee Eun, a young trainee whose ambitions drive the story, alongside Kim Ji-eun as Hong Jae-on, Jung Gun-joo as Chun Joon-hwa, and Park Jae-chan as Ko Soo-ra. Kim Eui-sung, Choi Min-chul, Jung Eun-pyo, Lee Ho-won, Yoon Je-moon and Han Jae-suk round out the principal cast. The engine of the show is the daily grind of inn chores, clumsy blunders, and the friction between people who would never have met outside the walls. Episodes mix broad physical humor with tender moments of friendship and budding romance. Its tone is breezy and warm, with a youthful, hopeful energy grounded in the rigid social order of its era. Fans of Mr. Sunshine, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung and Kingdom will find resonance in its blend of period detail, romance and ensemble comedy.
