## Synopsis

Bad Thoughts (2025-present) is an American adult sketch comedy anthology series created by Tom Segura for Netflix. Segura, a stand-up comic, plays a rotating cast of various characters across short, self-contained stories, each built around a hilariously disturbing premise that pushes past the boundaries of decency. Principal guest performers include Robert Iler as Evan, Dan Stevens as Gary Crawford, Daniella Pineda as Shelly, and Rachel Bloom as Sarah, with Bobby Lee and Shea Whigham appearing in smaller roles. The engine of each installment is a single escalating scenario that starts ordinary and spirals into uncomfortable territory, with the comedy coming from how far the characters are willing to go. The show runs across two seasons of roughly six episodes each, with episodes running around nineteen minutes. Its tone is crude, irreverent, and deliberately provocative, with a sardonic, stand-up sensibility that rewards viewers who enjoy transgressive humor. Fans of I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, Nathan For You, and the unsettling anthology style of Black Mirror will find a similar appetite for discomfort, absurdity, and sharp edges.
