## Synopsis

The Iris Affair (2025) is a British limited series created by Neil Cross for Sky Atlantic. Niamh Algar plays Iris Nixon, a rootless genius who steals an enigmatic code from a charming philanthropist, Tom Hollander as Cameron McIntyre, and then vanishes. The engine of the series is a tense countdown as she races to unravel what the code hides while pursued by powerful people who want it back. Sacha Dhawan plays Alfie Bird, and Maya Sansa plays Inspector Nico Casterman, whose investigation keeps closing in. The eight-episode run is one continuing story, with each hour tightening the clock and widening the web of deceit. The tone is taut and paranoid, built on suspense, shifting loyalties and the unease of a seemingly generous man hiding a threat. Fans of Hunted, Mr. Robot and Hustle will find resonance in its code-breaking chase, its outsider heroine and its British prestige thriller polish. The result is a propulsive, claustrophobic puzzle that rewards close attention to every clue.
