## Synopsis

Roosters (2025-present) is a Dutch comedy series created by Anna van der Heide, Anna van Keimpema, Richard Kemper and Luuk van Bemmelen for Netflix. Four longtime friends, Mike (Jeroen Spitzenberger), Ivo (Waldemar Torenstra), Daan (André Dongelmans) and Greg (Benja Bruijning), find that the world has moved on without them and keep stumbling as they try to catch up. Their efforts to adapt while holding on to their relationships and careers drive each episode, producing a steady run of awkward, embarrassing situations at home, at work and among their partners and friends. Pam (Jennifer Hoffman), Desirée (Fockeline Ouwerkerk) and Merel (Jelka van Houten) move through the same contemporary Netherlands, their lives complicating the men's plans. The show is built as continuing comedy across two seasons, with episodes that carry storylines forward rather than standing alone. Its tone is dry, wincing and intimate, with a cringe comedy edge that never fully lets the characters off the hook. Fans of Episodes, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Fleabag will find a similar pleasure in watching adults fumble with changing expectations, mixing sharp humor with real affection for the friendships at its center.
