## Synopsis

Atrévete a Soñar (2009-2010) is a Mexican telenovela created by Martha Oláiz and María Eugenia Argomedo for Las Estrellas. Danna Paola plays Patricia Patito, a sincere young dreamer whose hopes for love and a singing career collide with scheming rivals. Eleazar Gómez plays Mateo, the romantic counterpart at the center of her story, while Violeta Isfel and Cynthia Klitbo play the antagonists Antonella and Bianca, whose jealousy and manipulation drive much of the conflict. Adult storylines follow René Strickler as Rodrigo and Vanessa Guzmán as Ana, widening the melodrama beyond the teenage circle. The engine of the show is simple and effective: a sweet heroine keeps chasing her dreams while rivals scheme against her, and each episode layers new misunderstandings, confrontations and reconciliations. It runs as a single 262-episode season of hour-long installments, a long-form romantic saga built for steady daily devotion. Set in a contemporary Mexican urban milieu, the series is brightly melodramatic, sentimental and hopeful, with a music-tinged youthfulness. Fans of Rebelde, Destilando amor and Yo soy Betty, la fea will find resonance in its earnest romance and rivalry.
