## Synopsis

Real Men (Maschi veri) (2025-2026) is an Italian comedy series created for Netflix, produced by Groenlandia. Four longtime friends, Massimo (Matteo Martari), Mattia (Maurizio Lastrico), Luigi (Pietro Sermonti) and Riccardo (Francesco Montanari), form the core of a sitcom-style ensemble whose engine is the daily collision between their romantic lives, careers and the expectations placed on them as men today. Each episode of roughly half an hour follows the small crises of dating, work and friendship as the group tries to keep its footing while the modern world seems determined to question how men should behave. Across two seasons and sixteen episodes the show keeps the focus on everyday situations rather than grand plots, with Nicole Grimaudo as Federica and Laura Adriani as Daniela among the figures who push the men to reconsider their assumptions. The tone is witty, observational and warm, with satire aimed at male anxieties rather than at any one character. Fans of Sex and the City and Friends will find familiar pleasure in its ensemble banter about love and modern manners, while viewers of Boris will recognise its sharp Italian comic sensibility.
