## Synopsis

Teogonia (2025) is a Japanese animated fantasy series adapted from a light novel and produced by a consortium of Japanese studios, with Crunchyroll among its partners. Its single 12-episode season follows Kai, a village boy from Lag, voiced by Mutsumi Tamura, who joins the human fight against invading demi-human tribes after his home is engulfed by warfare. Kana Hanazawa voices Jose, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka voices Orha, and Atsushi Miyauchi voices Vegin, all companions in the battle lines. The engine of the show is simple and urgent: Kai must survive relentless skirmishes as his comrades fall one by one, and each wound brings back fragments of a life he once lived, pulling him toward a larger mystery about magic and his own past. Episodes of roughly twenty-four minutes move briskly through battlefield action, village ties and the tension of wartime survival. The tone mixes grim combat with a sense of wonder, as a young fighter discovers a world of ogres, gods and hidden history. Viewers who enjoy Re:Zero, Attack on Titan and Record of Lodoss War will find a similar blend of fantasy stakes, heroic resolve and a protagonist caught between two lives. The series runs as one continuing story with its ending left open for later chapters.
