## Synopsis

Deha (2024-2025) is a Turkish national-television family drama series created by Damla Serim for Show TV. Devran Karan (Aras Bulut İynemli), a mathematical prodigy whose doctoral thesis has produced a groundbreaking discovery, is poised to leave for the United States with his childhood love Esme (Ahsen Eroğlu) on a university scholarship. His deepest wish is to win the approval of his father Iskender (Uğur Polat), who abandoned the family years earlier and now lives a dangerous life outside the law. Devran's engine is a double bind: he must shield his household from Iskender's reach while trying to keep his younger brother Boran from being drawn into their father's world, a pull that threatens to unravel every plan he has made. The story unfolds across one season of 31 long episodes, each running around two hours, so it is built on sprawling family confrontations, secrets, and shifting loyalties rather than case-of-the-week structure. Supporting performances from Taner Ölmez, Onur Saylak, and Seda Akman deepen the Karan household's web of resentment and devotion. The tone is melodramatic and tense, with a heavy emotional register of betrayal, sacrifice, and longing. Fans of Kara Sevda and the family crime saga Gomorrah will find resonance in its blend of soap intensity and criminal menace.
