## Synopsis

Talamasca: The Secret Order (2025) is an American supernatural drama series created by John Lee Hancock for AMC. Guy Anatole, played by Nicholas Denton, joins the Talamasca, a clandestine international agency that keeps watch over the immortal universe, while he pursues answers about his family's hidden part in the supernatural world. Alongside him, Olive Marie Farington (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Jasper (William Fichtner) and Helen (Elizabeth McGovern) bring the agency's secretive methods and divided loyalties into focus. The engine is Guy's search for the truth about his bloodline while he is pulled into the order's investigations of witches, vampires and werewolves. Across a single six-episode season, the show plays as a serialized mystery with a slow, brooding build, unfolding in a present-day American setting with a gothic, atmospheric register. Fans of Interview with the Vampire, Carnival Row and Sleepy Hollow will find familiar pleasures in its secret societies, hidden histories and supernatural dread. The series was canceled on AMC after one season, and its viewers have been divided, with the audience rating settling at a mixed level.
