## Synopsis

Human Target (2010-2011) is an American action drama series created by Jonathan E. Steinberg for FOX, adapted from the DC Comics character. Mark Valley plays Christopher Chance, a private contractor and security expert who takes on dangerous protection jobs by stepping into the role of the human target himself, drawing attackers away from the people he has been hired to guard. He works alongside Chi McBride as Winston and Jackie Earle Haley as Guerrero, a mismatched team whose friction gives the missions their edge. Indira Varma as Ilsa Pucci and Janet Montgomery as Ames add further pressure to the operation. Across two seasons totaling twenty-five hour-long episodes, the series builds its engine from concrete assignments: a bodyguard thrown into a hostile situation, a team scrambling to keep a client alive, and a hero whose strategy is to become the bullet. The tone is full-throttle and kinetic, with sharp action sequences balanced by wry banter and character reveals that arrive when least expected. Set in present-day American cities, the series runs as a serialized action thriller with a case-driven rhythm. Fans of Leverage, The Equalizer and Arrow will find resonance in its blend of vigilante heroism, team dynamics and comic book energy.
