## Synopsis

My Dearest Nemesis (2025) is a South Korean romantic comedy miniseries broadcast on tvN, adapted from a webtoon and run as a single twelve-episode season of an hour each. Mun Ka-young plays Baek Su-jeong, a planning team leader at a renowned department store who finds her new boss, Ban Ju-yeon, played by Choi Hyun-wook, is her first love from an online game sixteen years earlier. She once turned him down when he confessed, and now every day at work drags those old memories back to the surface. The engine is simple and playful: she must keep her professional footing while the man she rejected becomes impossible to ignore in meetings, hallways and office politics. Each episode is built from workplace mishaps, awkward encounters and small scenes that reshape the couple's history with humor and warmth. Supporting characters around the department add lighter subplots and comic counterpoints. The tone is cheerful, breezy and sweetly nostalgic, with a steady undercurrent of romantic tension. Set in contemporary Seoul, the series sits within the tradition of the Korean romcom, and fans of Crash Landing on You, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim and Her Private Life will find similar pleasures of workplace chemistry and the charm of a second chance at love.
