## Synopsis

Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time (2025) is a Japanese anime isekai series produced by Studio Comet and broadcast on TOKYO MX, adapted from a light novel. Iruma Takumi, a young man who only wants a quiet life, is summoned by mistake during a hero summoning ceremony into Mildgard, a fantasy world of swords and magic. Instead of the peace he hoped for, the goddess Nolyn, voiced by Sora Amamiya, grants him alchemy, an ultra-powerful skill that lets him forge anything from holy swords to flying ships. Shogo Sakata voices Takumi, while Ai Kayano voices Sofia Sylphid and Nao Toyama voices Maria, companions who pull him into a reluctant adventure. The engine of the show is simple: Takumi keeps trying to step back from heroics, yet each new problem demands a new creation. Episodes are largely self-contained adventures with light slice of life moments, unfolding across a single season of twelve episodes followed by a short second season. The tone stays breezy, playful and warm, with fantasy spectacle built from the inventive crafting scenes. Fans of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Skeleton Knight in Another World will find resonance in its reluctant isekai hero and gentle fantasy adventure.
