## Synopsis

Last Summer (2025) is a South Korean romance drama miniseries created by Min Yeon-hong for KBS2. Across twelve episodes of roughly seventy minutes each, it follows twin brothers Baek Do-ha and Baek Do-young, played by Lee Jae-wook, and their neighbor Song Ha-kyung, played by Choi Sung-eun, whose yearly summer reunions gradually bloom into an unspoken love. The engine of the story is the slow pull of feelings that never get said aloud, tested as childhood friendships give way to adult lives and a past tragedy keeps pressing on each of them. Supporting roles from Kim Gun-woo as Seo Su-hyeok, Kwon Ah-reum as Yoon So-hee and Ahn Dong-gu as Oh Seung-taek fill out the circle of friends and rivals around them. The tone is wistful and tender, built on sun-bleached seasonal nostalgia, quiet glances and the ache of memories that refuse to fade. Each episode moves through time with a patient, character-driven rhythm rather than case-of-the-week structure, and the single season wraps the central romance in a bittersweet register. Viewers who loved the bittersweet youth romance of First Love and the nostalgic, friendship-rooted coming-of-age of Reply 1988 will find resonance here, as will fans of the summer-tinged longing of Call Me by Your Name.
