## Synopsis

My Youth (2025) is a South Korean romance drama created by Lee Sang-yeob for JTBC, a single-season limited run of twelve episodes. Song Joong-ki plays Sun Woo-hae and Chun Woo-hee plays Sung Je-yeon, two former lovers who meet again after fifteen years apart, each now struggling and living fiercely in their own stage of adult life. Lee Ju-myoung, Seo Ji-hoon, and Jin Kyung fill out the principal cast around them, and younger versions of the leads, played by Nam Da-reum and Jeon So-young, appear in scenes that reach back to the years when they first fell in love. The engine of the story is the question of whether a love that was interrupted can be picked up again, and what each person has become in the time between. Episodes move through quiet reunions, work pressures, old friendships, and the weight of decisions made long ago, with a melancholic and tender register throughout. Set in contemporary Seoul, the drama leans on the textures of ordinary city life. Viewers who enjoy reflective Korean romance in the vein of Reply 1988 or Crash Landing on You, or the grown-up longing of Something in the Rain, will find resonance here.
